Urban Surf started with Pastor John Rozier and his family in 2012 with the vision of sharing their their passion for surfing and love for Christ with the next generation.
The first surf camp began at Bethany Beach, Delaware and has since expanded and relocated to Long Beach Island, NJ and Cocoa Beach, FL.
Our mission is to bring junior high and highschool students out of their everyday lives through an overnight surf camp.
At camp we not only teach the youth how to surf, but also how to live out the Christian faith through the word of God, devotion and discipleship, which is the primary focus.
What We Do
WHY WE DO IT
Our vision is to see surfing as a model to approaching the waves of life. We intentionally structure our time at camp to impact campers through chapels, small groups and break out sessions to disciple and meet every youth where they are. We believe that God has a calling and plan for each and every one of us.
